The recipients for Community Underwriting’s Small Grants Program for 2023 have been announced. The program has been able to support 52 projects that are aimed at making a significant and positive impact on the community in a variety of ways.
In a statement to the media, Graeme Berwick, Executive Director at Community Underwriting said: “In our tenth year of the Grants Program we are proud to have assisted 52 terrific projects across the sector (up from 46 in 2022). The 2023 grants program has made contributions to projects addressing a diverse range of wonderful initiatives.”
There is plenty of diversity in the objectives of the grant recipients and their involvement in giving back to the community. The initiatives that the Grants Program is supporting range from:
“In addition, we were able to assist with a range of much needed defibrillators, replacement fridges and other important equipment, health information resources, enhanced signage, sensory gardens and art installations, community and family events,” said Mr Berwick.
“Our annual donations to NFP shareholders and the Small Grants Program enable us to continue to reinvest our client's insurance dollars back into the sector every year.”
