Last night’s NIBA-CGU Welcome Function was a spectacular kick-off to the 2024 NIBA Convention, transporting delegates to the vibrant streets of New Orleans in Adelaide. Vardon Avenue was transformed into a lively celebration, setting the perfect tone for the days ahead.

The atmosphere complemented the theme of going Beyond the Status Quo, which will be unpacked and explored throughout the session over the coming days. A record number of almost 800 delegates, more than 85+ exhibitors, and 15 partners will come together over the course of the Convention. NIBA thanks CGU for being a returning partner for the Welcome Function.

One of the evening’s highlights was the address by Damien Gallagher, EGM, CGU, the Welcome Function partner. Damien’s speech resonated with themes of connection and collaboration within the insurance industry.
