Nominations are now open. If you know someone who goes above and beyond, nominate them or put your own name forward.
The five state winners will participate in the CGU On-Country Immersive Experience and Capability Building Workshop. This is an immersive three-day, two-night program, exclusively designed for an intimate cohort. The program aims to foster a deep understanding of Indigenous partner organisations in regional Australia through guided regional tours, exclusive insights, and a unique interactive experience with an exceptional Indigenous organisation.
They will go on to compete for the title of the national Broker of the Year, who will be announced at the 2025 NIBA Convention in October.
The national winner will be a beneficiary of a transformative professional development experience, attending a NYU Stern Business School four-day executive education course, including return premium economy flights and seven nights' accommodation in the autumn of 2026.
Damien Gallagher, Executive General Manager, CGU said:
“CGU is proud to be a returning partner of the Broker of the Year award. Partnering with NIBA for this award demonstrates our ongoing commitment to rewarding broker ambition—celebrating professionals who are leading the way in shaping change within the industry.”
