At the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA), our mission is to advance the broking profession and support the delivery of professional risk advice to all Australians.
Representing 400+ Member Firms insurance brokerages and 14,000+ individual brokers and authorised representatives nationwide, NIBA works closely with government, regulators, industry bodies, and consumer organisations to promote a fair, efficient, and sustainable general insurance market. Our members range from large multinational firms to small and medium-sized businesses serving both metropolitan and regional communities
Through proactive engagement and informed advocacy, NIBA ensures the voice of the insurance broking profession is heard and respected in key policy discussions.
Together, we educate decision-makers and consumers, advocate for sensible policy, and elevate the standing of insurance brokers across Australia.
Advocacy in Action
- Collaborating with all levels of government and
the insurance industry to improve access to quality, professional risk advice. - Preparing detailed submissions to government inquiries and regulators on a wide range of policy and regulatory issues.
- Meeting regularly with Ministers, Members of Parliament, government agencies and regulators to provide insights from the broking profession.
- Running targeted campaigns to raise awareness of key issues affecting brokers and their clients.
