Awards Broker Awards Broker of the Year Award

About the Award

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) annually recognises excellence in the insurance broking profession through the prestigious Broker of the Year Award.

This award honours Stephen Ball, former JLT Australia Chairman and NIBA President, whose leadership and contributions left a lasting impact on the industry. Proudly supported by CGU, the award celebrates brokers who exemplify professionalism, integrity, and outstanding client advocacy.

NIBA recognises exceptional brokers across five regions:

  • New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory
  • Queensland
  • South Australia/Northern Territory
  • Victoria/Tasmania
  • Western Australia

Each regional winner advances as a finalist for the national Broker of the Year title, with the ultimate winner receiving the Stephen Ball Memorial Trophy, announced at the NIBA Convention.
