The Community Excellence Member of the Year Award recognises a NIBA Member who has made an exceptional effort in helping their clients or positively contributing to their community.
Supported by Liberty Specialty Markets, the award also underlines the importance of Members’ contributions that go beyond their regular work responsibilities and to highlight the value of charity and community service.
The Award is a national award.

Entrants must be available to participate in their state’s Award Panel Interview and Gala Lunch, as well as all other award activities as outlined below.

Be a member of NIBA
Be available for all the key dates outlined
Previous entrants and winners:
Past entrants to the award can re-enter.
Previous winners will not be eligible for the award.
Must be able to demonstrate a combination of:
Claims advocacy in action
Technical competence in insurance as applied to Claims
Strength of client and underwriter relationships
Improvement in claims process and practice, leading to better client outcomes.
