As part of NIBA’s annual awards program we proudly recognise outstanding insurers and underwriting agencies that set the benchmark for excellence in the general insurance market. These industry-based awards shine a spotlight on the insurers and underwriters that truly deliver for brokers and their clients.

Winners are recognised across three categories:

These awards are determined through the independent NIBA Broker Market Survey, conducted in partnership with global research firm NielsenIQ. This independent survey invites brokers across Australia to rate insurers and underwriting agencies on a range of important product and service quality criteria, including product quality, service standards, brand reputation, and overall broker experience. This ensures the awards reflect genuine market performance as seen by those who work most closely with insurers.
