Be at the Forefront of Shaping Change: Registrations Open for the 2025 NIBA Convention
NIBA invites the insurance broking profession to be at the forefront of “Shaping Change" at the 2025 NIBA Convention.
As the flagship event of the insurance broking profession, itʼs the meeting place for brokers, partners, suppliers, key regulators, stakeholders, and emerging talent. This yearʼs Convention will take place from 19 to 21 October at the RACV Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.
Registrations are now open to join NIBA on this exciting journey over two-and-a-half days, where attendees will learn, share, connect, celebrate and unpack the key future trends facing the profession and the wider insurance sector of Australia.
The theme for this yearʼs Convention is ‘Shaping Changeʼ, highlighting the pivotal role that insurance brokers play in helping families, businesses and communities navigate a dynamic landscape.
The 2025 NIBA Convention Committee Chair Lynette Walsh said:
“The NIBA Convention is more than just an event—itʼs an unmissable opportunity for brokers to connect, learn, and be inspired. The NIBA Convention continues to deliver year on year through a carefully curated experience that combines insightful content, networking, and personal and professional development, Lynette said”.
Over two-and-a-half days, the Convention will feature thought-provoking insights from industry leaders, breakout sessions on pressing industry issues, a celebration of industryʼs best talent, invaluable networking opportunities and social events.
NIBA President Nick Cook noted the significance of this yearʼs theme for the broking community.
“With increasing climate-related risks, continuing regulatory shifts, and evolving consumer expectations, this yearʼs theme is extremely relevant for our profession. Brokers must remain at the forefront of our industryʼs transformation, playing a critical role as trusted partners for their clients and communities, ensuring that Australians continue to thrive,” Nick said.
The Convention is also an opportunity to celebrate excellence over the past twelve months, with the highly anticipated 2025 national CGU-partnered Broker of the Year and Vero-partnered Young Broker of the Year unveiled at the Gala Dinner and Awards Night.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin noted what makes the NIBA Convention stand out.
“Whether youʼre from a small independent brokerage, a large international firm, or part of a cluster group, the NIBA Convention brings the breadth and diversity of the broking community and the wider insurance industry together under one roof,” Richard said.
