NIBA and Vero celebrate 35 years of partnering for the Young Broker of the Year Award
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is thrilled to announce the state finalists for the prestigious 2024 Young Broker of the Year Award, proudly partnered with Vero. This award, now celebrating over three decades of recognising excellence, showcases the future leaders of the insurance broking profession.
Since its inception, the Young Broker of the Year Award has honoured outstanding members under the age of 35, commemorating Warren Tickle's legacy. As the former Insurance Commissioner responsible for implementing the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act 1984, Tickle's early career at Sun Alliance, now Vero, set a high standard for the industry. This award continues to uphold those standards by recognising young brokers who go beyond the ordinary.
NIBA's CEO, Richard Klipin, says, "This award celebrates the leaders of tomorrow who strive to go above and beyond, upholding the highest standards of professionalism. NIBA is delighted to introduce the finalists from across the states."
The Young Broker of the Year Award evaluates nominees' commitment to the profession of insurance broking, professional practice, and contributions to the broader community. The criteria include inspirational representation, demonstrated professionalism, and community contribution.
Anthony Pagano, Head of Distribution at Vero, says, "It's a privilege to recognise this remarkable group of professionals. These brokers will undoubtedly go on to be the leaders of tomorrow, and the quality of our state finalists is the reason that Vero is so proud to provide continuous support to all brokers and sponsor the Young Broker of the Year Award for 35 consecutive years.
