NIBA Announces Finalists for the 2026 Insurer Awards

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced the finalists for the 2026 Insurer Awards. The finalists were determined using broker feedback from the NIBA Broker Market Survey, which this year received record responses and feedback from over 1,070 brokers across Australia.
The NIBA Broker Market Survey is delivered in partnership with NielsenIQ. It gives insurers, underwriting agencies and brokers an independent, syndicated view of the general insurance market, helping the sector benchmark performance, identify opportunities and improve outcomes for clients.
The research aims to recognise excellence, strengthen the broker-insurer partnership, and lift professional standards across the sector.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin congratulated the finalists.
"NIBA is committed to strengthening professional relationships between brokers and insurers. The Insurer Awards benchmark and recognise the insurers and underwriting agencies that brokers rate most highly, and that are lifting professional standards to serve Australians better. I congratulate this year's finalists and wish them the best of luck ahead of the winner announcements," Richard said.
Angela Carter, Director, Brand and Media, NielsenIQ, said the finalists had performed strongly on the measures brokers value most.
"Across an extremely competitive field, this year's finalists stood out in their respective categories on key indicators including trust, Net Promoter Score (NPS) and overall satisfaction. Brokers have recognised their engagement and the experience they deliver across their products, services and offerings," Angela said.

The winners will be announced at the 2026 NIBA Convention, held at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast from 18 20 October.
