NIBA Announces NTI as the 2026 Underwriting Agency of the Year

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) announced NTI as the 2026 Underwriting Agency of the Year at the NIBA Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast on Tuesday, 20 October. NTI also won the award in 2025.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin noted the significance of the awards.
"NIBA is committed to strengthening professional relationships between brokers and insurers. The Insurer Awards are an important platform to benchmark and recognise the insurers and underwriting agencies that brokers rate most highly," Richard said.
NIBA recently introduced the Underwriting Agency of the Year award to reflect the evolving nature of the insurance landscape. The winner was determined using broker feedback from the NIBA Broker Market Survey, which this year received record responses and feedback from over 1,070 brokers across Australia.
The NIBA Broker Market Survey is delivered in partnership with NielsenIQ. It gives insurers, underwriting agencies and brokers an independent, syndicated view of the general insurance market, helping the sector benchmark performance, identify opportunities and improve outcomes for clients. The research aims to recognise excellence, strengthen the broker-insurer partnership and lift professional standards across the sector.
Richard welcomed brokers' record participation in the survey and congratulated NTI and the finalists.
"This year, a record of over 1,070 brokers shared their insights through the NIBA Broker Market Survey, which shows the value the sector places on this research. Congratulations to the team at NTI on winning this category for a second consecutive year, and to all the finalists," Richard said.

So, it's not surprising it has market leading NPS, with significantly more Promoters among Australian brokers.
