NIBA Announces the Winner of the 2025 Vic/Tas Young Broker of the Year Award
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is thrilled to reveal the Victorian/Tasmanian winner of the Vero-partnered 2025 Young Broker of the Year award.
James Still from Still Insured was awarded the Vic/Tas Young Broker of the Year award at the 2025 NIBA Vic Gala Lunch on 18 July at the Sofitel in Melbourne in the presence of over 520 professionals.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin congratulated the winner and acknowledged the finalists: “I congratulate James and would like to acknowledge all the finalists who have demonstrated a strong commitment to professionalism and ongoing improvement.”
NIBA President Nick Cook noted the importance of the awards program: “The award process continues to unearth the great talent from within the broking industry and shine a light on their achievements.”
The 2025 Vic/Tas Young Broker of the Year award, partnered by Vero, recognises the broking industryʼs rising stars under the age of 35.
Megan Lewis, Veroʼs State Distribution Manager for Vic/Tas, said: "James has demonstrated great leadership and a genuine passion for the insurance profession. His innovative thinking and willingness to go above and beyond for his clients set him apart. Brokers like James highlight why we continue to support young professionals in our industry."
James will now go on to compete for the national Young Broker of the Year award. The national winner of the Vero-partnered Young Broker of the Year will be revealed at the 2025 NIBA Convention at the Gold Coast in October.
