The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is thrilled to announce the winner of the CGU- partnered 2025 WA Broker of the Year award.

The award was announced as part of the 2025 NIBA WA Gala Lunch, attended by nearly 600 professionals at The Crown, Perth on Friday, 11 July.

The CGU-partnered 2025 WA Broker of the Year was awarded to Charles Elders from Avoca Insurance Brokers. The Broker of the Year celebrates the outstanding contributions of senior brokers to the profession and the wider community.

NIBA CEO Richard Klipin offered his congratulations to the WA winner and acknowledged the finalists: “NIBA congratulates Charles for this fantastic achievement, wishing him the very best of luck for the national awards in October.”

“NIBA thanks all the finalists for showcasing how brokers are elevating professional standards in the way they engage with their clients and the community,” Richard added.

NIBA President Nick Cook noted the importance of the award program: “The award plays a vital role in shining a spotlight on the exceptional talent within the insurance broking industry.”

Dustin Bartley, CGU Executive Manager, Workers Compensation said, “CGU congratulates Charles as this yearʼs WA Broker of the Year state winner. The commitment of Charles to go above and beyond for his clients is why CGU is proud to partner with NIBA for the Broker of the Year award.”
