NIBA Announces the Winner of the 2025 WA Young Broker of the Year Award
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is excited to reveal the winner of the Vero- partnered 2025 WA Young Broker of the Year award.
The award was announced as part of the 2025 NIBA WA Gala Lunch, attended by nearly 600 professionals at the Crown, Perth on Friday, 11 July.
The Vero-partnered 2025 WA Young Broker of the Year was awarded to Tom Wheeler from Lockton Companies Australia. The Young Broker of the Year celebrates the outstanding contributions of brokers under the age of 35.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin offered his congratulations to the WA winner and acknowledged the finalists: “NIBA congratulates Tom and wishes him the very best of luck for the national awards in October.”
“NIBA thanks all the finalists for showcasing how brokers are elevating professional standards in the way they engage with their clients and the community,” Richard added.
NIBA President Nick Cook noted the importance of the award program: “The award plays a vital role in shining a spotlight on the exceptional talent within the insurance broking industry.

Tom will go on to compete for the national Young Broker of the Year award. The national winner of the Vero-partnered Young Broker of the Year shall be revealed at the upcoming 2025 NIBA Convention at the Gold Coast in October.
