NIBA Announces the Winner of the 2026 QLD Young Broker of the Year Award
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is thrilled to reveal the Queensland winner of the Vero-partnered 2026 Young Broker of the Year award.
Emily Booth from Aon was awarded the Qld Young Broker of the Year award at the 2026 NIBA Qld Gala Lunch on 15 July at the Star in Brisbane, in the presence of 530 professionals.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin congratulated the winner and acknowledged the finalists: “Every finalist in this category has shown real commitment to professionalism and to giving back to their community, and Emily’s win is a testament to how young brokers are well on their way to become future leaders.”
NIBA President Nick Cook noted the importance of the award program: “Through our awards program, NIBA is proud to spotlight the depth of talent coming through the ranks in our profession.”
The 2026 Qld Young Broker of the Year award, partnered by Vero, recognises the broking industry’s rising stars under the age of 35.

Emily will now go on to compete for the national Young Broker of the Year award. The national winner of the Vero-partnered Young Broker of the Year will be revealed at the 2026 NIBA Convention at the Gold Coast in October.
