NIBA Announces the Winner of the 2026 Vic/Tas Broker of the Year Award

The state winner for the 2026 Vic/Tas Broker of the Year award was announced today by the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).
The award was presented at the 2026 NIBA Vic Gala Lunch on Friday, 17 July at The Sofitel in Melbourne to a packed room of over 540 professionals.
The CGU-partnered 2026 Vic/Tas Broker of the Year award was won by Jodi Sharman from Gallagher.
The Broker of the Year award celebrates those senior brokers who are elevating professional standards through their broking practice.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin congratulated the winner and acknowledged the finalists: “All the best to Jodi for the national awards in October, and congratulations to every finalist for the commitment and dedication they bring to this profession,” Richard said.
NIBA President Nick Cook noted the importance of the award program: “NIBAʼs award program is an important platform to recognise the exceptional talent that is leading our profession towards being future ready.”

Jodi will now go on to compete for the national Broker of the Year award.
The national CGU-partnered Broker of the Year will be chosen from the five state winners and announced in October at the 2026 NIBA Convention.
