NIBA Announces Vero as the 2025 Large General Insurer of the Year
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) announced Vero as the 2025 Large General Insurer of the Year at the NIBA Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on the Gold Coast on Tuesday, 21 October.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin noted the significance of these awards. “NIBA is committed to strengthening professional relationships between brokers and insurers. The Insurer Awards are an important platform to benchmark and spotlight the top performers in the insurance sector,” Richard said.
The award recognising the General Insurer of the Year has a rich tradition of over two decades. It is determined through the feedback provided by brokers in the NIBA Broker Market Survey.
The NIBA Broker Market Survey, delivered in partnership with global insights leader NielsenIQ, is one of the most comprehensive independent studies of its kind in the Australian insurance landscape.
It is a landmark piece of research that sets to benchmark excellence and expertise. The research's purpose is to showcase excellence, strengthen the broker-insurer partnership, and help lift professional standards across the sector.
Richard welcomed brokers' record participation in the NIBA Broker Market Survey and congratulated the Vero as the winner in this category as well as the finalists.
“This year, a record number of more than 1,000 brokers participated in the NIBA Broker Market Survey to share their insights, which is a testament to the importance of the research for the sector.
Congratulations to all the finalists and the team at Vero for winning in in this category, Richard said. Angela Carter, Director of Brand and Media at NielsenIQ, said, "Vero has demonstrated continued improvement in their perception of being seen as the most trusted partner for brokers as a large
general insurer. They have taken feedback from past surveys to improve year on year, building stronger relationships with brokers and shaping change within the industry.”
