NIBA Names Finalists for the 2025 Community Excellence Member of the Year
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is thrilled to announce the finalists for the 2025 NIBA Community Excellence Member of the Year, proudly partnered with Liberty Specialty Markets.
This award recognises NIBA members who have gone above and beyond in serving their clients or making a meaningful contribution to their communities. It highlights the vital role members play outside their day-to-day responsibilities, particularly through acts of charity and community engagement. Supporting communities is part of brokersʼ DNA. This is precisely why the Community Excellence Member of the Year matters. This yearʼs finalists exemplify service beyond duty, and the impact oftheir contributions cannot be understated.
Our finalistsʼ efforts include championing the Ronald McDonald House Charities through sustained advocacy and hands-on support, leading recovery efforts during the recent Ingham floods that inundated around 60% of the town, and standing with vulnerable children, including those in orphan
care, to create moments of dignity, joy and hope. Their actions show how brokers turn expertise and empathy into tangible outcomes that make a difference when communities need it most.
