Nominations Open for the Vero-Partnered 2025 Young Broker of the Year Award

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is thrilled to announce that nominations have opened for the Vero-partnered 2025 Young Broker of the Year award.
Through its awards program, NIBA is proud to recognise brokers elevating the standards of professionalism. The Young Broker of the Year award celebrates the broking leaders of tomorrow under 35 years of age who are transforming the profession.
“At NIBA, we believe in recognising those who are shaping the future of insurance broking through innovation, leadership, and a commitment to the community,” said NIBA CEO Richard Klipin.
“Vero have been a long-term supporter of this award, recognising the achievements of outstanding brokers under 35 for over three decades,” added Klipin.
Five state winners are selected from the regions of NSW/ACT, Qld, SA/NT, Vic/Tas and WA respectively, revealed at the 2025 NIBA Gala Lunches in July.
The five state winners have the opportunity to participate in the Vero Professional Development Program and join the Vero Young Broker Alumni Experience, where the state winners and past national award winners help make a real difference to a community that has been impacted by a natural disaster.

The five state winners will go on to compete for the title of the national Young Broker of the Year, who will be announced at the 2025 NIBA Convention in October. The national winner will receive a tailored learning and development experience valued at $10,000, courtesy of Vero, designed to support their professional growth and leadership journey.
