Excellence Deserves Recognition: 2026 Broker of the Year Award Nominations Open

The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is pleased to announce nominations are now open for the CGU-partnered 2026 Broker of the Year Award.
Through its awards program, NIBA is proud to recognise brokers who continue to set the standard for professionalism. The Broker of the Year Award showcases the depth of talent within the profession by spotlighting standout senior brokers who embody exemplary professional integrity, expertise and an unwavering commitment to their clients.
Five state winners will be selected from the regions of NSW/ACT, Qld, SA/NT, Vic/Tas and WA respectively, and will be announced at the 2026 NIBA Gala Lunches in July.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin thanked CGU for their commitment in recognising senior broking talent.
“It’s fantastic to have CGU back as the award partner for the 2026 Broker of the Year Award. Together, we’re proud to recognise senior brokers who consistently raise the standard of service, integrity and professionalism,” Richard said.
The state winners will participate in the CGU On-Country Immersive Experience and Capability Building Workshop, a program that aims to foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous partner organisations in regional Australia and a unique interactive experience with an exceptional Indigenous organisation.

The five state winners will go on to compete for the title of the national Broker of the Year, announced at the 2026 NIBA Convention in October.
