Applications for the 2024 NIBA Community Excellence Member of the Year Award are now open.
The 2024 NIBA Community Excellence Member of the Year Award, proudly sponsored by Liberty Specialty Markets, aims to recognise NIBA Members who have made exceptional efforts in helping clients or positively contributing to their community.
This award also underlines the importance of Members' contributions that go beyond their regular work responsibilities, and to highlight the value of charity and community service.

NIBA Members can apply here for the 2024 NIBA Community Excellence of the Year Award by fulfilling the criteria outlined in the survey questionnaire.
If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to participate in a 3-judge panel interview via video.
- Criteria
- Describe where you made a meaningful difference to help the community in the last 12 months.
- What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?
- What factors contribute to making this specific experience meaningful for you?
- What are the short-term/long-term effects of your contribution?
- Applicants will need to include a testimonial or reference of their contribution to the community including contact information for verification purposes.
- Eligibility
Must be a NIBA member.
- Award offering
The winner of the Community Excellence Award receives a donation of $1,000 to their charity of choice. The award includes an all-inclusive ticket to the 2024 NIBA Convention, return economy domestic flights from your home state and three nights’ accommodation.
