Insure Your Future Directories: Helping showcase your business to new talent
Recently, NIBA launched ‘Insure Your Future’, an exciting initiative that aims to attract new talent to insurance broking and promote it as a profession in the wider community. ‘Insure Your Future’ also aims to increase the understanding of the insurance broking profession, so that more people have clarity about what an insurance broker does and can see viable career pathways in the insurance industry.
One of the ways that there can be an increased understanding of insurance broking is by providing those people who might be interested in taking it up as a career with more resources and information, all in one centralised place.
To accomplish this goal, ‘Insure Your Future’ is calling upon insurance broking-related businesses, education and training providers to register their organisations in the IYF Employer as well as Training Provider Directories.
By registering their organisations, prospective employers and education and training providers will be able to tap into new talent pools of individuals who are interested in the insurance broking profession. Furthermore, these directories will also benefit those who are searching for more information about insurance broking or looking for ways to get their foot in the door, as they would be able to access a range of businesses and training providers at their fingertips.
The IYF Employer and Training Provider Directories will go live when the full ‘Insure Your Future’ website launches in early 2024. You can submit your organisation to either be part of the IYF Employer Directory or the IYF Training Provider Directory, depending on the nature of your business here.
What happens once I submit?
Once you submit your business to be featured in the IYF Directories, the details you have provided will be reviewed by a team member of the IYF initiative. If your application is successful, your business will be available to search for prospective talent in the Directories when they launch early next year.
