NIBA announces the 2024 Qld Young Broker of the Year award winner


Today, NIBA announced the winner of the Vero-partnered 2024 Qld Young Broker of the Year award.

The state winner for the 2024 Qld Young Broker of the Year was announced today by NIBA.

The award was presented as part of the 2024 NIBA Qld Gala Lunch on Wednesday, 17 July at the Royal ICC in Brisbane to a packed room of almost 400 professionals.  

The Vero-partnered 2024 Qld Young Broker of the Year award was awarded to Jodie Krafft from WTW.

The Young Broker of the Year award celebrates high standards of professionalism and represent the pinnacle of achievement in the insurance broking profession for those under 35 years of age. 

NIBA CEO Richard Klipin congratulated the winner, adding: “The awards are an integral part of recognising and celebrating the standout talent that’s present in the broking profession. I wish Jodie all the best for the upcoming national awards in October and would like to congratulate the finalist Ellen for her commitment and dedication towards the profession.”

Her dedication to professional development and passion for the insurance industry are truly commendable. Jodie is an inspiration to her peers, and we are proud to provide ongoing support to exceptional brokers like her." 

Jodie will now go on to compete in the national awards. The national Vero-partnered Young Broker of the Year award will be chosen from the five state winners and announced in October at the 2024 NIBA Convention.  

The national winner of the Young Broker of the Year award will also receive a tailored professional development experience valued at up to $10,000, courtesy of Vero.

NIBA also extends congratulations to the finalist of the 2024 Qld Young Broker of the Year award - Ellen Mills from Adroit Insurance & Risk.
